General

You must be 18 years of age or older.
You must first create an account and become a Client. Once you become a Client, simply enter your credit card and click to connect with an Expert.
Our Experts come from all over the United States, Canada and a few other countries. We analyze the profiles, client reviews and/or experience of over 2,000,000 experts to find the best expert for your needs. We only allow experts to be listed on eClient only they have submitted their professional credentials.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Discover). We will charge your credit card only for the number of minutes you consult an expert. You select the expert and all expert fees are clearly stated so there are no surprises.
To safeguard your privacy, charges will always appear on your credit card statement as eClient.
Experts set their own rates. These rates are displayed in their profile. Sometimes Experts will even set discounts and promotions.
It depends on the number and complexity of your question(s) or issue(s). Keep in mind that an answered question will often lead to new questions.
There are many advantages to consulting with an Expert over the phone, such as:
  1. Availability. Our Experts are available around the clock and able to meet your scheduling needs.
  2. A consultation that is done over the phone is pure and free from distractions and external judgments.
  3. Having an Expert available via phone or chat is much more convenient and often times far less expensive than having to make an in-person appointment, travel, etc.
  4. Phone consultations allow our Experts to work in a place of their choosing. Experience suggests that when an Expert is in their own environment, they tend to be most effective. This translates into satisfaction and clarity for you.
  5. Phone consultations provide privacy and confidentiality that can enhance your comfort and openness and lead to a better consultation.
While clients are solely responsible and liable for all uses of eClient (including, but not limited to, the selection of Experts, communications with Experts and fee arrangements with Experts), and while clients assume the risk that any communications with an Expert may or may not address a Client's questions or otherwise be satisfactory, relevant or acceptable to the Client, in certain limited circumstances eClient may elect to refund a payment made by a Client for a communication session with an Expert by contacting us at: customerservice@eclient.com. All such refund requests will be fully investigated by an eClient customer service representative and will be determined by eClient on a case by case basis. All refund decisions will be made at the sole discretion of eClient and such determinations will be final.
Check to make sure that you entered the correct email address and password that you used when you created your account. Please double check the spelling as well. If you are still having problems, you may request to reset your username and/or password by clicking the appropriate button on the login page.

For Experts

After you have properly created and submitted your Expert profile, it normally takes between 24 to 72 hours for our Quality Assurance Team to review your application. If you have submitted your application, and have not received an email from us after 72 hours, please contact expertsupport@eclient.com for assistance.

Yes. Your photo is the first impression you will make with potential clients and is an important part of receiving new clients. A professional looking photo has a huge impact on your ability to reach new clients and is important in making the initial connection. Accordingly, your photo must be :

  • Taken in front of a plain white or solid colored background
  • Taken in formal or business attire
  • Taken in full-face view directly facing the camera
    • Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline
    • From the waist up
    • Dark glasses or glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable
    • Do not have anyone else in the photo
There is no set minimum or maximum number of hours required per week. You dictate the number of hours and your own schedule. However, we ask that you login as often as possible and make yourself available whenever you can. The more often you login and make yourself available, the more clients and more money you will receive.

Your Expert profile should be an accurate reflection of your expertise. Think of it as your cover letter, resume, and personal brand all in one. The goal of your profile is to entice clients to build a client relationship with you. Your profile sets you apart and should focus on your strengths, years of experience, expertise, and add a personal touch.

IMPORTANT Do not include phone numbers, email addresses, or anything of that nature.

The eClient system will connect client calls and chat sessions to you anytime you state that you are available. As soon as you log in, the system will indicate that you are available. If you do not wish to receive client calls or chat sessions, you need to set your status as "Unavailable" at the top of your screen (green button will become red when you are unavailable).

If you close your browser or close your computer, your status will be automatically set to "Unavailable". So if you wish to remain available, simply log in and minimize the window on your browser. That way you will remain logged in and you can receive calls or chat sessions. Don't forget to log out or close your browser if you no longer wish to receive calls or chat sessions.

If you have indicated that you are available, a client will be able to click on the "Talk now" button in your profile. This will immediately initiate a call to the number you have in your profile. You will then be asked if you would like to receive the client call or not. If you accept, the system will initiate the call to the client and put them in contact with you. At the moment the client is connected to you, the billing automatically starts according to the per minute rate you have set in your profile.

Once you are logged in to your account, you can simply click on "My Clients" in the top right of the screen and you will see a history of all your clients, billings and personal notes, so you can keep track of what you discussed with each client. This is important as it will provide you with a quick reference to remember the details of each of the conversations you have had with your clients, and provide them with best service and experience.

You have two options to get paid: by PayPal or by check. You can select your preference in your profile (click on "My Account" under your name in the top right corner, then click on "Receiving Payments" on the left hand side of the screen). We will pay experts "Pay Day" who have a Paypal account every Thursday of each week and Experts who have chosen to be paid by check will be paid the first Thursday of each month. If less than $50 is due to you on a "Pay Day", then we will accumulate the balance for you until it reaches $50 or more which you will then receive according to your preferred payment method on the following "Pay Day".
